1896-O. NGC graded MS-63. Mostly untoned. Scarce date and a true condition rarity where even a Choice coin like this is one of the finer graded examples from the New Orleans Mint. These simply did not survive in high grade and most show truly soft central strikes. This one is sharper than many seen, and offers excellent surfaces for the grade assigned. Pop 152; 15 finer, 1 in 63+, 11 in 64, 3 in 65. (PCGS # 7242) .
