Lot 150

1808, 8 over 7. Medium chocolate brown and steel with slightly lighter steel brown toning on the devices. Traces of lighter brown toning show in protected areas on the reverse. No roughness or verdigris and only a few minor marks. The notable ones are a subtle puff of reddish steel toning right of the Y in LIBERTY and a dull, very shallow scratch from the second S in STATES to the leaves below. Nicely struck EDS, Manley state 1.0, with no trace of a die crack through the tops of TY in LIBERTY. The overdate feature is obvious. A nice example of this popular overdate variety. Our grade is F15+, very close to VF20. (PCGS # 1110) .
Estimated Value $1,000-UP.

Realized $1,234
