Lot 150

1825 N-3 R3 PCGS graded AU55. Very attractive frosty medium steel brown and light chocolate. The fields are satiny and the only marks are a few tiny planchet chips around the bust tip and a small puff of darker olive brown toning right of the date. MDS. The small lump in the field below star 5 is still visible and a faint die crack meanders down from the curl over star 13 to the top of the 5 in the date. Graded EF45 net EF40 and tied for CC#16 in the Noyes census, his photo #35937. Our grade is EF40+, close to EF45. The attribution and Twin Leaf Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS #36790. Pop 2; 5 graded higher at PCGS for the variety. Estimated Value $1,000 - UP
