1939-S Oregon Trail Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-67. Superb, frosty and mainly silver-white. By far the most visually fascinating feature of this coin is its satin-soft, frosted mint bloom. Full cascading luster on both sides, in fact. No one can refute the vibrancy of the surfaces here. This Oregon shows itself well in the fully struck devices where all the finer detail including the high points where the dies gave a full impact. Pop 96; 12 finer, 4 in 67+, 7 in 68, 1 in 68+ (PCGS # 9354) .
