Lucania. Metapontum, c. 330-300 BC. Gold Third Stater (2.6 g). Rare! Head of Hera right, wearing stephane and earring. Reverse: Ear of barley with leaf to right, dove above; ethnic at left. SNG ANS 395. Nicely centered, with residual luster. Near Very Fine.
