Einstein, Albert -- TLS About an "educational campaign against prejudice and race-hatred". (1879-1955) German-born physicist who developed the theory of relativity. Typed letter signed "A. Einstein," one page, 7¾ x 6½", on blind embossed personal letterhead from Princeton, Oct. 29, 1947. To Mr. Camille Honig "c.c. Jewish Labor Committee" thanking him for his visit and for information about the activities of the Jewish Labor Committee. "The educational campaign against prejudice and race-hatred…is important for the promotion of peace and justice. It is also apt to strengthen Labor in its hard fight against the reactionary tendencies of the present time. I hope that your work in this country will be successful." Fine condition. Matted with three images of Einstein, a quote, a biographical plaque, and an article about him, all framed to an overall size of 20 x 24½". Estimate Value $2,500 - UP
