Four Late 19th Century American Financial Documents. Two Territory of Montana Territorial Warrants, Helena, M.T., County of Lewis & Clarke, May 10, 1886 and April 29, 1887, 4¼ x 9 in. The first is made our to "Treas. Yellowstone Co." for $274.50 "for support of convicts for March & April, 1886"; the second is to William Dowty for $31 "for killing 636 squirrels." Both are signed by the Territorial Auditor; both have attractive vignettes at left edge. An Excelsior Drift Gold Mining Company stock certificate, Sacramento, California, 1894, certifies that Isaac Ferguson is entitled to 25 shares. A check from the Exchange & Collection Office of H. Runge & Co., Cuero, Texas, Oct. 31, 1874, is made out to Carl Schybilla for $76.50 "in Silver"; endorsed on verso.
