Lot 1363

1907 $20 St. Gaudens. High relief, Roman numerals, wire rim. PCGS graded MS-62. Bright reddish-gold in sheen, both sides display sharp details in Liberty and the eagle, making this a popular first-year design. A little friction on the high points of the knee and chest drapery of Liberty dress, and a few reverse abrasions on the eagle adequate for a coin in this grade. Plenty of visual appeal from the Brilliant Uncirculated characteristics of this piece (PCGS # 9135) .
Estimated Value $13,500 - 14,500.

Realized $16,100
