The Nine Symphonies of Gustav Mahler: Conducted by Leonard Bernstein, New York Philharmonic and London Symphony Orchestra. Extremely popular limited edition boxed set of 14 vinyl recordings conducted by the legendary Leonard Bernstein with the New York Philharmonic and London Symphony Orchestra. Also included is one additional record "Gustav Mahler Remembered". This set is #2546. The slip case is in good condition but the paper affixed on verso outlining the details of the set hast stains, scrapes and holes. However removing the 2½" thick folio that hold the vinyl records, one can clearly see the slipcase did its work. The exposed spine that is exposed in the case in scuffed, and some splits to the faux leather along hinges, but once out of case, the front and back boards near pristine, the gold gilt lettering bright and without wear. Thoroughly examining the set, the 30 page brochure is clean and most important, the vinyl records extremely well cared for. A fine pre-owned set. Estimated Value $400 - UP
