Lot 134

1822 N-8 R4 PCGS graded AU53, CAC Approved. Glossy steel brown and chocolate with frosty tan and light brown covering the protected areas on both sides. The surfaces are smooth and this cent is essentially flawless, just lightly worn on the devices. A collection of very tiny ticks in the field under the chin may help identify this cent, but you need a good glass to see them. Nicely struck E-MDS with a few very fine die cracks on the reverse. Graded VF30 Choice and tied for CC#4 in the Noyes census, his photo #27747. Our grade is VF30+. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 2 finer in 55. PCGS #36733. Estimated Value $1,500 - UP
