Goldberg Coins and Collectibles

Sale 65

Lot 1335

1913. PCGS graded Proof 65 Cameo. Lovely light rainbow toning. Only 627 struck. Not only is the 1913 Philadelphia Mint a scarce one in business strike format, it is also among the most well-struck of the Proofs. Unlike the usual Seated Liberty half dollar Proofs from the 1880s which tended to be soft in areas such as the stars, the later (and some might say handsomer) Barber Proofs are very sharp from top to bottom, center to periphery, outside and in. Elevate your bids to make room for the expected competition.Pop 5; 3 finer, 1 in 66, 2 in 67 (PCGS # 86560) .
Estimated Value $2,100 - 2,200.
Ex: Garrett Collection.

Realized $3,220
