Apulian, Daunia. Large Buff Olla, or Funerary Krater, ca. 5th - 4th Century BC. A large urn, with brown geometric design in four registers surrounded by line decoration and pellets, large extended lip tapering to a conical bowl decorated with brown conical circles and line decoration. The vessel has twin loop handles and smaller lug handles in between. Intact, few minor nicks and chips. Height: 7 ¾"; Diameter: 8 ¾".
