1822 N-7 R3+ PCGS Genuine AU Details Scratch. Frosty chocolate brown and tan with a few subtle puffs of reddish brown and darker olive toning. Sharply struck and attractive but there are a half dozen light scratches in the field before the portrait and a couple more between the stars above the head. The scratches barely break the toning and there are no additional marks. Sharply struck EDS. The outside leaf under IC in AMERICA is shallow but clear. Our grade is EF45+ sharpness net EF40. One of the sharpest examples known of this tough die variety. The attribution and Twin Leaf Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS #36730. Estimated Value $1,000 - UP
