1847 N-30 R4 Repunched 1 PCGS graded AU50, CAC Approved. Glossy light to medium brown and chocolate with steel brown toning on the highpoints. A very attractive cent with light wear on the highpoints and trivial contact marks. Two very light horizontal scratches on the neck and a very subtle puff of darker toning over star 2 may help identify this cent. MDS, die state b, with a small lump on the upper edge of the ribbon loop below EN in CENT. The repunching on the 1 is sharp. Our grade is EF40+. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 4 finer: 2 in 55, 1 in 62, 1 in 65. Estimated Value $400 - UP
