Lindbergh, Charles (1902-1974) Made first solo, non-stop transatlantic flight in 1927. Photograph Signed, n.p., n.d., 10 x 8 in. A smiling, waist-up left profile portrait, signed in black ink in a darkish area at lower right, across one of Lindbergh's sleeves and background. Signature is clearly visible and Lindbergh's smile is much broader than usual. Verso has stamp of ACME Newspapers and some discoloration from a previous mounting, not affecting the excellent image.
