1847 N-30 R4 Repunched 1 PCGS graded AU55, CAC Approved. Attractive light to medium chocolate brown. Essentially flawless, just light wear on the highpoints and traces of dirt in protected areas. The only notable mark is a short hairline scratch on the bottom of the neck over the 8. MDS, die state b, with a tiny lump on the upper edge of the wreath ribbon but before the large cud break on the rim below the wreath ribbon. The repunching under the 1 is obvious. Our grade is EF40 and choice for the grade. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 2 finer: 1 in 62, 1 in 65.
