Lot 125

1821 N-2 R1 NGC graded AU53. Attractive medium brown and light chocolate. No spots or stains, only minor contact marks scattered over both sides. A cent with excellent eye appeal, just lightly worn. A dull diagonal nick right of the date and a thin diagonal nick over the left side of the C in CENT may help identify this cent. Nicely struck EDS. The dentils are crisp around both sides and the die line from the bust tip is strong. Our grade is VF35+, close to EF40. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. Pop 2; 11 graded higher at NGC for the variety. Estimated Value $1,250 - UP
Acquired by Chuck Hall from an unrecorded source on 4/21/2017.
