José Jesús Francisco Zúñiga Chavarría (1912-1998) was a Costa Rican-born Mexican artist, acclaimed the world over both for his painting and his sculpture, considered "one of the best sculptors of the Mexican political modern style" according to Encyclopedia Britannica. Offered is a lovely bronze in rich brown patina on wood base entitled "Nude Leaning Over". Sculpture measures 9.¾" x 9.¾" x 9", weighing 6½ pounds and and in superb condition. Gallery COA included.
