1799 S-189 R2. VG-8. Sharpness F12 but there are too many light contact marks for the sharpness grade, including a rim bruise off the tip of the nose. The eye appeal remains quite nice for the grade, but a strong glass reveals traces of extremely fine roughness in a few places. Mostly glossy chocolate brown delicately mixed with splashes of darker olive. MDS. The date is strong and the legends are clear. A very nice 1799 cent in spite of the minor imperfections.
