1893 New York State Gettysburg Veteran's Commemoration Medal. NGC Uncirculated Details. 44mm, bronze. Issued for the dedication of the state monuments at Gettysburg. The obverse has the Arms of New York. The reverse has the New York monument between dates 1863 and 1893. The medal was originally suspended from a rectangular Gettysburg Veteran badge and red, white and blue ribbon that were mounted to the top edge of the medal. The accruements are long gone and judging from it near flawless surfaces this medal was never worn. Small indentations from the clamp mount are found at 12 o'clock.
