1893 Memento of the World's Fair Medal, Eglit-105. MS-63 Deep Mirror Prooflike. White metal, 59mm. Obverse of elder Columbus bust 1/4 to left in center, Memento of the World's Fair, Chicago 1893 at edge. Reverse is highly detailed, intricate scene of Civilization and Genii above Native American Indians. This medal was designed by Pagliaghi, engraved by Capuccio, and struck by Stefano Johnson in Milan, Italy. It one of the most artistic of the Columbian Expo medals. This medal is encased in a custom acryllic holder, with attribution engraved into holder.
