1893 Declaration of Independece Medal, Eglit-36, So-Called Dollar HK-156. MS-62. White metal, 40mm. As last, but holed at 12 o'clock. These medals are know both with and with out holes added, which suggests some were intended for suspension. This piece was never mounted as there are none of the marks or abrasions to the surfaces or around the hole that most mounted pieces display.
