1856-D $5 Liberty. PCGS graded MS-61. Frosty with nice eye-appeal. Desirable even with this moderately weak strike, we need to point out some signs of weakness in the hair braid above the forehead, the lovelock below the ear, and on much of the eagle's central body. Just the same, it is the overall condition that counts. And this nearly choice MS61 has it where it counts, in the smooth, undisturbed luster with grand eye-appealing color. Only 19,786 minted.
