Lot 115

1786 Vermont Ryder-8 Rarity-4 Landscape type VG10. VERMONTENSIUM variety with a repunched 1 in date. Sharper by at least 5 points but the surfaces are covered with fine roughness under rather glossy dark steel and olive toning. No marks or planchet defects, but there is shallow verdigris caked into protected areas on both sides. The date and legends are easily readable, although a couple letters are weak. The repunching on the 1 in the date is clear. Listed on pages 71-2 in the "Redbook." Weight 102.0 grains.
Estimated Value $200-UP.
Ex Tom Rinaldo.

Realized $345
