1982 STS-3 Flight Dynamics Officer's ascent & abort cue card & more. Two page two sided personal Flight Dynamics Officer's cue card (9½"x15") was used in Houston's Mission Control Center during STS-3 simulations and to call out real-time Shuttle Abort Mode capabilities during ascent. This is the unique hand constructed cue card supporting STS-3 ascent. Abort Modes are annotated along with technical reference material necessary to conduct a successful flight. Data depicted is based on Columbia vehicle's performance characteristics for STS-3. Notations on front in red supplies the ascent and abort modes whereas on the back they refer to Return-to Landing Site (RTLS).
