Three (3) Bronze Luristan Animal Figures, Western Iran from ca. 1000 B.C. a Bull, a Horse and a Dog. Great collection of three Luristan figures of a horse, a dog and a bull in fine relic condition. Typical of Luristan artistry, the animals have extended necks, bodies or both giving far more graceful lines and curves. These three pieces are very representative of those ideals.
1.) The bull is a shining example of Luristan artistry, note the length of body and graceful neck. A terrific piece. 2 x 2¾"
2.) The horse is similarly extended in neck and body 1½ x 3"
3.) The dog, or wild dog is 2 x 2" has wonderful age patina and a charming figure. Estimated Value $600 - 900
