1870 Pattern Quarter Dollar. Copper, reeded edge. Judd-902. Pollock-1017. Low Rarity 7. PCGS graded Proof 63 Red & Brown. Sunset reddish highlights. Both dies show bold evidence of clashing and excellent color. The obverse has the Standard head of Liberty facing right, with a headband inscribed LIBERTY and a star, legend surrounds and Motto below on a raised ribbon. The reverse has an open agricultural wreath enclosing 25 / CENTS / 1870. Standard above. Pop 1; 2 finer, 1 in 64 BN, 1 in 64 RB. (PCGS # 71146) Estimate Value $1,500 - UP
