1847 N-14 R3+ PCGS graded MS62 Brown, CAC Approved. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate with hints of reddish chocolate on the reverse. Mint frost covers the protected areas on both sides. The notable marks are a tiny pinprick below the eye and a small puff of darker chocolate toning right of the E in ONE. LDS, die state d. The reverse is cracked and the earlier die lines from the dentils left of star 1 are gone. Our grade is EF45+. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 5 finer: 1 in 64, 4 in 65. Estimated Value $250 - UP
