1787 New Jersey Maris 68-w Rarity-4 G6. Glossy light and medium chocolate brown. Smooth and free of marks except for a couple shallow planchet voids at the date and plow handles, plus a couple more at the rim at the left top of the reverse. The lower part of the date is off the planchet making it difficult to read, the second 7 being faint at best. Removed from an ANACS slab graded VG8 (ANACS label included, #4641473). Listed on page 70 in the "Redbook." Weight 140.1 grains.
