Images of Baseball. Signatures. In this lot, we offer eight signed Time Magazines featuring baseball memories spanning almost 50 years. We have signatures from two great managers: Hank Bauer has signed a September 1964, Time Magazine and Casey Stengel (whose signature has been retraced) signed an October 1955 Time. We also have three stars from the 1970s and 1980s: Johnny Bench has signed a 1972 Time Magazine, Rod Carew signed a 1977 issue, and Pete Rose signed twice -- a 1985 and a 1989 issue. Jack Davis signed the 1976 issue featuring his cover commemorating changes in baseball. As a final note, because love them or hate them, they are part of the game, we offer the signature of Umpire Steve Palermo on a 1994 issue of Time. All of the issues are complete and conditions range from very good to fine.
