Choice Luristan Bronze Lion Effigy, Solidly Crafted, Northwestern Iran, ca. 1000 B.C. Rare Luristan bronze lion figure in choice condition from Northwestern Iran. A wide diversity of bronze or bronze/copper alloy animals were made during this period ranging from rams, lions, ibexes, goats, stags and horses. especially fine details in the face, the mane and the front legs.
