Mercury Program, c1960s, Mercury Seven Signed Photo (professionally matted and framed to 13.5x11.5") This classic photo is signed by M. Scott Carpenter, LeRoy Cooper, John Glenn, Virgill Grissom Alan Shepard, Walter Schirra, and Donald Slayton. You can tell that this is a very early signing since the astronauts have all used their full names. They stopped doing this after the demand for autographs caused them to abbreviate their names as much as possible to save time and effort. The Grissom, Shepard and Schirra autographs are somewhat faded, but overall, the piece is extremely attractive and rare.
