1807 C-1 R1 Repunched 7 PCGS graded AU50. Glossy chocolate and darker steel brown with traces of lighter brown toning in protected areas on the reverse. The surfaces are smooth and the eye appeal is excellent, but a glass reveals some tiny contact marks scattered over both sides. A tiny pinprick off the end of the left wreath stem can help identify this piece. MDS, Manley state 2.0. More than half the dentils are visible on both sides and the reverse is rotated 15-20 degrees CCW. The repunching on the 7 remains clear. Our grade is EF40 sharpness net VF35. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 13 finer for the variety. Estimate Value $500 - UP
