1794 Liberty Cap Cent. . S-54 R3. Fine-15. Sharpness near EF40 with a half dozen pit marks on each side, and the entire reverse is covered with very fine granularity. The largest of these pits is at the base of the E in LIBERTY and at the E in AMERICA, where that pit obliterates the E. No notable signs of contact or verdigris. Glossy olive brown and chocolate with spots of darker olive on the reverse. MDS, Breen die state III.
