Unusual and Quite Exceptional Roman Bronze Buckle in the form of a Duck with Excellent Feather Details ca. 3rd -5th Century A.D. Extremely fine thin strap buckle (or box lock) in the form of a duck with very well done, feathered details 3rd- 5th Century A.D. Excellent dark green patina with working swivel where the duck attaches to the anchor and is free from repair. A very appealing piece which conveys with a lucite mount/stand. 3½" in length.
