1909-S Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded MS-65 Red & Brown. Light golden brown with typical "wood grain" effect in the color. A gem by all measures, including spot-free fields and pleasing color. Only 309,000 of these S-mint cents minted. Few were saved at the time of issue since mintmark collecting was in its infancy then. Pop 82; 1 finer in 66. (PCGS # 2239) .
