Lot 1012

1909-S Indian Head Cent. PCGS graded MS-65 Red. Here is a fully struck example of this key date. There is hardly a mark on it and the color is very attractive. This date always comes with a slight lack of detail on the first feather. This is not from weak strike as some mistakenly say, but the detail was never on the die to begin with. This is a very pleasing coin and it is very attractive. Pop 127; 12 finer; 11 in 66; 1 in 67. (PCGS # 2240) .
Estimated Value $5,000 - 5,500.
Ex : The "Chiro" Collection. Eagle Eye Photo Seal accompanies this lot.

Realized $6,038
