Lot 1010

1803. Large 3. B-6; BB-255. PCGS graded AU-50. Pleasing uniform grayish-violet toning on both sides. The surfaces are smooth and free of any detracting handing or circulation marks and the eye appeal is solid for both the lovely antique toning as well as the high grade. Notably the upper hair on Liberty's head shows light, even wear and the surfaces are satin smooth with classic delicate toning over residual luster. Scarce when found this well preserved. Pop 5; 5 in 53, 6 in 55, 1 in 58, 1 in 58+, 1 in 63, 1 in 65. (PCGS # 40101) Estimated Value $4,000 - UP
