Lot 1009

1802. Narrow date. B-6; BB-241. NGC graded MS-63. A glorious example shimmering with lustrous surfaces overlaid with delicate mottled, slightly iridescent violet toning on both sides. Precious few Draped Bust dollars are known in any grade of Mint State, let alone Choice as seen here! This is truly an incredible coin that offers a bold strike, full luster and booming eye appeal. A formidable offering that will entice many collectors to pursue the quality and eye appeal offered here. This is a scarcre date when compared with the 1798 or 1799 dated silver dollars, and although a handful survive in mint state, they are few and far between, especially at this lofty grade level. This amazing coin will certainly dazzle any collector who appreciates exceptional surface quality. Pop 3; 1 in 65. Estimated Value $30,000 - UP
