1882 and 1887 Hawaiian Monarchy Land Deeds. Transaction with John D. Paris, Jr. relative to Kaawaloa, South Kona, Island of Hawaii, 12½ x 8 in., Kona, Hawaii, December 1882, 4 pp. Signed by Pari, John Davis (Elected to the Territorial Legislature in 1887; member of the Reform Party), and others. With a South Kona mortgage foreclosure affadavit, 13 x 8 in., 1898, October 5, 1p., in Hawaiian language, transaction with Mrs. S. Robertson relative to land in Omokaa, South Kona, Hawaii. Includes tipped in foreclosure notices published in the English language newspaper "Hawaiian Gazette" and the Hawaiian language paper "Kuokoa." Also has dry stamps of the public and a rare "not liable for duty" stamp. Both fine.
