1836 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Lettered edge. EF-40. A scarce variety and tough to find this nice. The surfaces show minor hairlines, no surprise whatsoever, and the coin is basically original appearing, with light silver at the centers and gold toning around the periphery. No circulation problems, and well struck throughout. Not in the Condition Census, but highly collectible in this grade.
