Two Early Hawaiian Monarchy Maui Land Deeds, 1862 and 1866. Maui land deed, 12½ x 8 in., 1862, September 15, 4 pp., being a transaction with T. H. Hobron relative to Kahului described in a lease from Kamehameha III dated March 10, 1851. Signed by the following: William Enos; Kuhilani, wife of William Thomas Brown, Registrar of Conveyances Document has Royal Seal (Ink). With a second deed, 12½ x 7¾ in., 1866, March 28, 4 pp., being a transaction with O. H. Gulick relative to land described Royal Patent No. 261 granted to Keliihuluhulu on May 10, 1850. Signed by P. J. Gulick, Fannie T. Gulick, and Thomas Brown. Gulick was a famous Hawaiian missionary and early naturalist. Both fine.
