Incredible Lathe-Cut 2 Sided Glass Flask. Byzantine Period, ca. 9th Century. Mold blown two-sides lathe-cut design. Helmeted Queen facing wearing earring and formal collar, large Jerusalem Cross to left; all within fine concentric lines. Verso: Sun Burst design within fine concentric lines. Vivid greenish-golden iridescence throughout! Superb quality, free from chips and visible repair.
