1793 Flowing Hair Cent. Wreath reverse, vine and bars edge. . S-10 R4. VG-8. Sharpness near VF20 but covered with fine roughness, strongest in the protected areas. Fine vertical scuff marks cover the portrait and there is a repaired dent at the end of the wreath stem following AMERICA. No verdigris. Mostly glossy dark olive brown and chocolate mixed with some slightly lighter toning on the obverse from an old cleaning. The date and legends are complete and strong. E-MDS, Breen state I. Decent eye appeal for the grade in spite of the obvious defects.
