Ancient Terracotta Pilgrim's Flask with Overall Light Iridescence. Ancient Pilgrim's Flask: such a vessel was necessary to hold and transport precious oils and unguents. Likely from 4th Century A.D. this example is quite fine and having overall light iridescence. So many cultures created this style of vessel; Roman, Greek, Middle Eastern even East Asia spanning over 6 hundred years.
4.5 x 3.75" and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Estimated Value $300 - 600
