Lot 950

Twelve (1) Piece Lot of a Variety Ethnographic Art, Mostly Pre-Columbian. Wonderful collection of predominantly Pre-Columbian pieces from across the Southern Americas. The highlight is a vessel from the Nahuas indigenous tribes of much of Mexico, Guatemalan or in this case Nicaragua. Much of it original polychrome paints are present and the pot itself quite appealing in shape. Museum grade reconstruction with virtually all the original pottery beautifully restored in place. 5.20 x 5 x 5". There are numerous terracotta figures and heads in the collection from Mexico, Costa Rica, Peru and Ecuador. A great many are on stands which adds immeasurably to their appeal.
