1846 N-16 R5 Tall Date PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved. Glossy medium brown and light chocolate. A very attractive cent that appears to be void of marks, but a glass reveals many tiny ticks scattered over both sides. The only notable marks are dull nicks on ONE CENT. E-MDS, die state a. The fine die lines are sharp and there are no cracks or rim cuds. Our grade is net VF35, tied for CC#11 in the Grellman census. Comes with a nice provenance. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 2 finer in 63. Estimated Value $500 - UP
