Lot 87

1818 N-1 R2 PCGS graded AU58+, CAC Approved. Very attractive frosty medium chocolate brown and steel. Satiny mint luster covers the fields and protected areas on both sides and this cent has excellent eye appeal. The only mark is a small rim bruise over the second A in AMERICA. Looks mint state but there is a touch of friction on the highest points of the devices. MDS with narrow rim cud breaks from star 3 nearly up to star 5. Our grade is AU50. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS #36601. Pop 1; 8 graded higher at PCGS for the variety. Estimated Value $700 - UP
Ex Thomas D. Reynolds 12/13/2008-Chuck Hall Collection.
