1805 C-1 R2- Repunched 5 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous medium steel brown and chocolate with frosty tan faded down from mint color in protected areas, particularly on the reverse. The only mark is an arc of darker olive brown toning from the L in LIBERTY through the curls to the lowest curl left of the date. Nicely struck E-MDS, Manley state 1.0 late. A rim cud break involves 4 dentils right of the fraction and the reverse is rotated 20 degrees clockwise. The repunching at the top of the 5 is sharp. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 3 finer, 1 in 64, 2 in 65 for the variety. Estimate Value $2,500 - UP
