U.S.S. New Orleans Apollo 14 Recovery Crew Baseball Cap #1. Property of a crew member aboard the recovery ship U.S.S. New Orleans for the Apollo 14 splashdown. Alan B. Shepard, Jr., Stuart A. Roosa, and Edgar D. Mitchell flew a modified capsule, especially with regards to the oxygen tanks after the Apollo 13 mishap, and completed a very successful Moonwalk. We are offering two Apollo 14 caps in this auction. This one exhibits evidence of minimal wear, production tags still attached. Size small and has elastic in cap but not really adjustable.
